THOMAS FINN Obituary

FINN, Thomas B. Jr. Of Pembroke, MA, passed away peacefully, at home, on February 18, 2026, surrounded by his family, following a recurrence of pancreatic cancer. He was born on June 15, 1950, in Great Barrington, to Jane Casey and T. Bennett Finn. He was introduced to his love of golf, at a young age, at Wyantenuck Country Club, a place that felt like a second home for generations of Finns. He graduated from Monument Mountain High School, where he was quarterback and captain of the football team. He earned his Bachelor's degree at Boston College, and his love for BC football would continue for his whole life. He went on to earn an MBA from Suffolk University. Tommy was a Special Agent for 30 years with the FBI, a job he approached with deep respect and attention to dignity. The friendships and professional relationships, throughout the larger world of law enforcement, that he developed in this job marked the most treasured aspect of his career. This career moved him to Minnesota, to New York, and then back to Massachusetts, collecting friends and stories along the way. Career highlights included his work on the SWAT team and bank robbery task force in NYC and firearms instructor at Quantico. He was passionate about his love for his family, his Irish heritage, playing and watching golf, and Boston sports teams. He leaves behind his daughters, Casey McGowin and Colleen Graham; his sons-in-law, Kevin McGowin and Paul Graham; his grandsons, Finn and Matthew McGowin; his sisters, Susan Faivre and Liz Finn; and his partner, Marley Gordon. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Finn. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor.
