I always smile when I think of my Uncle Tom. He gave me this source of lightness and joy dating back to when I was so small. He always greeted me with a big hug and questions about my life - my life...he made me feel special - a gift that isn't available in any store. It is however one that perpetually offers me joy and insight as I greet my nieces and nephews... I will miss him dearly. My thoughts and prayers have been with my cousins and parents.

Your father is smiling down at you all now that he is with his wife and daughter, knowing he and Audrey did very well and that you three will carry on the gilroy name proudly and with grace. I love you all and will see you at the wake. Kathy Barrett

My Uncle Tom was always a wonderful man to me and my family. He was a loving brother to my mom, and all his brothers and sisters, a wonderful man to have known in my life, and I'll always remember his smile, his heart, and I'll miss him dearly. He's in heaven now. My heart goes out to his family, which has suffered too much lately, and to whom my heart goes out. His mother Nora will comfort him now, and we'll comfort each other.
