Gillian Humphries and family

We light a candle to remember a very special man. All our family loved him like a brother. He lived with us in term time when his parents were located back in the States, and Tim was at Burford School with our son Chris Humphries. Tim was a great fun person who always made us smile, was polite, kind and that is how we remember him.

Tim was a very special and valued friend when our three children were growing up in Oxfordshire (UK) in the early 1980s. Our son Chris was at Burford School with Tim, and Tim sometimes stayed with us during the holidays. Chris and Tim were always having fun and working on creative projects involving movies or computers. Tim is someone that will remain always in our thoughts and memories.

Tim's death is both troubling and a suprise. I knew Tim casually through Nimmy Abiaka and found in him someone I could always have a good conversation with about anything. We had several things in common, mainly black history and literature and I always walked away from our conversations enlightened. He was smart and kind and I will miss him.
