Dear Michael and Joe,
Sending my heartfelt condolences. Greenwich Road is forever changed with the passing of your Mother.
Ever since I moved away from Norwood all those years ago, whenever I'd return, I'd stop by to say hello to your parents. I'd ring the doorbell, and invariably, your Mother would descend from upstairs, and your Father would ascend from downstairs, meeting on the landing to welcome me in, and give me their undivided attention.
Gracious is the word that comes to my heart when I think of Vi. She was soft-spoken, calm and always made me feel that she was glad to see me.
We are so lucky to have grown up on Greenwich Road with all our wonderful parents, who worked so hard to provide us a childhood full of happy memories.
May those memories be of comfort to you.
