Wendy was beloved by several families, including Zach, her parents, sister and other relatives, and the entire ROAD community that extends from Cambridge/Somerville to Baltimore to Richmond, VA. Wendy touched each of us with her commitment to mothering Zach and to making a better world for him and all of us to live in. She was the heart of ROAD, volunteering for everything and always there. We'll miss her, and remember her every time we're together. Zach will always be part of our ROAD family.

Dear Family,
It is with sadness I heard about the loss of Wendy. I was part of the staff at the West Somerville Neighborhood School when Zach was in the kindergarten. Wendy was a wonderful mother whose main concern was always for her son Zach. She was so proud of how smart Zach is. She tried so hard to always have him be successful and although it was a challenge at times, she kept the faith and would try even harder to make sure he learned to read and do all his homework. May she rest in peace and may you find joy in the memories you have of her.
