I find myself at a loss for words. I keep remembering all the great memories I have with Billy and my Aunt Mad. I love them both dearly as do my husband and our children. It's been a very sad week at our home in Indiana. You will be forever missed.

Billy, my big brother---
I went to a "Mom Mass"--i.e.--an early Mass this morning, followed by a "Mom swim".......you were on my mind and in my prayers.
You are with Mom now, joining her on her birthday. That's some birthday present.
I have no doubt that she has wiped and dried your tears as she wipes and dries ours. And we know that you both enjoyed the Belmont.

Billy Finneran,a cyclone of energy,whose presence was a show.No announcer,no spotlight.no drum roll,just Barney at 200mph.He was ESPN and sportscenter before they were invented.Don Rickles learned sarcasm from Barney.You clearly could be the central character in a great American novel.Gordie,Ali,and Barney.What a conversation that's gonna be!!!! Save me a seat Billy.My greatest respects to the legendary Finneran family.
