Bradenton, Florida - Ann Lucille Nickolas, 83, of Bradenton, FL died December 26, 2023. She was born in Philadelphia, PA to John and Anna Fiocca and attended Philadelphia High School for Girls. Ann moved to Bradenton in 2008 from Mays Landing, NJ.
Ann enjoyed cooking, traveling, socializing, entertaining and had an exceptional imagination.
In recent years, Ann was a Eucharistic Minister on behalf of Ss Peter and Paul and an H2U volunteer. Previous community service included the Girl Scouts, BPW of Philadelphia, Soroptimist International, and Pebble Springs Condos. She also enjoyed her time in the Red Hat Society.
Ann is predeceased by her parents and loving husband of 59 years, Jack of Bradenton, FL.
In August 2022, Ann married Robert T. "Bob" Headley of Bradenton and is survived by Bob, her son, John N. (Pamela) Nickolas of Newtown Square, PA; daughters, Theresa (Daniel) Nickolas Desher of Ellenton, FL, Kathleen (Wayne) Nickolas-Glenfield of Bradenton, FL and Susan (Daniel) Nickolas Ruggiero of Hammonton, NJ; grandchildren, Robert J. Desher (Delores), Edward Toner (Rachel), Nina Ruggiero, John E. Nickolas (Colleen) and Michael Nickolas; and 5 great-grandchildren, Eve Marie, Isabella, Isaac, Jack and Scarlett.
Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor for children to Feeding Empty Little Tummies (feltinc.org) or Ronald McDonald House of Southwest Florida (rmhcswfl.org).

So many times I just want to call or even come over to make sure if all is good see if you need anything or need anything done. Only to remind myself that neither you nor Dad are at the Condo anymore. Even with New Year 2026 here it´s hard to say Happy or even Merry as December is a rough month as you both you Mom and you Dad went to the heavens above. Christmas and New Year´s are not the same. Wish I can have you both back however that of course is not possible. I hope you both are happy no more pains and enjoying with our lord in his heavenly surroundings. Until the day we see each other again know you are both MISSED and LOVED!!

I remember the enjoyment Ann would express when volunteering at H 2 U over the years. In more recent times I remember coming across Ann & Bob over at Seasons 52. She is missed. Prayers and condolences to the family. I am sure she is at peace!
