Irene Albritton Obituary

Irene Albritton Irene Albritton, 87, of Myakka City, Fla., went to be with the Lord on August 30, 2018. She left this world peacefully surrounded by her family, and her beloved husband, Gary Albritton by her side. She will be missed by many, she was an amazing women that dedicated her life to others. She was the go to lady in Myakka City, her motto was SEE A NEED , FILL A NEED and that is what she spent her time doing when she wasn't tending the cows with her husband. The list of selfless task and volunteering she did was endless. She is survived by her loving husband, Gary Albritton, step-children, Wade Albritton and Tina Snyder, sisters, Laverne (Jack) Cotner, Janet (Don) Thompson. Sister-in-law, Sharon Morrison (Jerry), preceded in death by brothers, JD (Vivianne/Eileen) Morrison, sisters, Elsie (Bill) Johnson and Emery (Jack) Gantz. Her Memorial Service will be held September 22, 2018 at 4:00pm at The Myakka Family Worship Center and dinner will immediately follow at The Myakka City Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Myakka City Wee Care. Sound Choice Cremation & Burials are handling her arrangements. www. SoundChoice Cremation. com.

Irene was such a wonderful example of a Christian lady, always loving and caring for others. She visited so many folks who could not get to church, our mother included. This photo shows only some of the joy she brought to Mom. It will be impossible to fill her shoes.
