Anne Lindquist Obituary

KANE - Anne Lindquist, 87, passed away Saturday (Oct. 26, 2024) at The Lutheran Home at Kane, where she had resided for several years.
Born Dec. 16, 1936, in Kane, she was a daughter of the late Alf and Doris (Alexis) Benson. On Sept. 7, 1956, in Kane, she married George Lindquist, who preceded her in death.
Anne had worked as a nurse's aide at The Lutheran Home at Kane for more than 35 years. She was a member of Tabor Evangelical Lutheran Church and a past member of the Kane VFW.
She is survived by one daughter, Nadine (John) Holt of Kane; three sons, Karl (Darlene) Lindquist, Keith (Jackie) Lindquist and Greg (Bonnie) Lindquist, all of Kane; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren with number 21 on the way.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Burritt; a son, Kevin Lindquist; and a sister, Emma Hallberg.
Friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 30, 2024) at Tabor Lutheran Church with the Rev. David Pflieger officiating. A luncheon will follow in Nelson Hall.
Memorial donations may be made to the McKean County SPCA, 80 Glenwood Ave., Bradford, PA 16701; or Tabor Lutheran Church, 200 Dawson St., Kane, PA 16735.
