Eilene Windsor Obituary
PORT ALLEGANY - Eilene M. Windsor, 77, of Turtlepoint, passed away Tuesday (Feb. 15, 2022) at Olean General Hospital, Olean, N.Y.
She was born May 16, 1944 in Cleveland, Ohio. On Feb. 7, 2007, in Coudersport, she married Arthur L. Windsor, who survives.
Eilene graduated from Cleveland schools. She had worked for AT&T in New Jersey and then for Johnston Tools in Port Allegany.
She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Port Allegany. Eilene loved gardening, woodworking and her dogs.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Robert (Anna Boston) Bernasco of Ocean Park, Fla. and Raymond L. (Becky) Windsor of Shreve, Ohio; two daughters, Linda Hoffee of Wooster, Ohio and Diane (Richard) Aber of Kent, Ohio; grandchildren, Robert (Kelly) Hoffee, William (Rachel) Hoffee, Raymond D. Windsor and Renee (Scott) Hawkins; and great grandchildren, Toren Hoffee, Marris Hoffee, Maxwell Kane, Jacob Kane, Zane Stacey, Jason Hawkins, Sloane Hoffee and Harper Windsor and one sister-in-law, Cynthia (Harlan) Lindsey.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nina Melinger, and one son in law, Robert L. Hoffee.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 18, at Hartle-Tarbox Funeral Homes Inc., 105 Main St., Port Allegany. Funeral and committal services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home, with Rev. Michael Culver, officiating. Burial will be in Annin Creek Cemetery, Turtlepoint.
