Travis Shaffer Obituary
He was born Sept. 24, 1973, in Galion, Ohio.
He grew up in Vermont and moved to Port St. John with his family in 1988. He attended Titusville High School and graduated from the American Motorcycle Institute, in Daytona.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was a proud member of the Warlocks MC, Brevard County Chapter, Cocoa. He was an avid fundraiser for the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Florida. When it involved helping children, he was there.
Rydes by Rusty in Cocoa was owned by Mr. Shaffer, along with his brother, Rusty. He was also a member of the American Legion Post No. 359 in Port St. John.
He is survived by his parents, John (Pops) and Ann of Port St. John; three brothers, John Jr. and Rusty of Port St. John and Paul of Athens, Vt.; and two sisters, Renae of Port St. John and Janet of Springfield, Vt.; maternal grandmother, Lorraine Thompson of Westminster, Vt.; and his nephew, Brian who was his good buddy; several aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews in Vermont and West Virginia.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, John Guy and Madeline Shaffer of Bellows Falls, Vt.; two of his best friends, Chirs and CJ of Port St. John; and step grandfather, Henry Thompson of Westminster.

I have worked with Ann through the customer service team at Wachovia Purchasing for many years. I have never had a better working relationship with any other vendor rep. I am a close friend of Travis's Mom Ann. I work closely with Ann as a customer with Wachovia.
