David Paradise Obituary
David Keith Paradise, 70, of Newington, passed away on July 7, 2024 at his home. David was born in Hartford on March 17, 1954, the son of the late Francis (Ray) and Joyce (Williams) Paradise. David worked as the Superintendent of the Public Grounds Department in Berlin and was a member of the South Kensington Volunteer Fire Department.
David is survived by his daughters, Christa Alkas, and her husband Mark, and Jayme Paradise, and her significant other, Michael Rogan. Grandchildren; Tyler George and
Kaley Rose Alkis. Siblings; Juleigh Paradise, Holly Mims and her husband Larry, Stephen Paradise and his wife Marjorie, Mary Blodgett and her husband Rick, Laura OSullivan and her husband Patrick, Wendy Rawlings and her significant other, Mark Mogielnicki, and Joesph Paradise and his wife Kristin. Brother-in-law Kent Carlson and his wife Dianne; sister-in-law Leslie Thomas and Lynn Detlefsen and her husband Douglas; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
David was predeceased by his wife Laurel Lori Paradise, his brother Mark Paradise, and his brother-in-law Gary Rawlings.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. The Duksa Family Funeral Home at Newington Memorial, 20 Bonair Ave, Newington, is assisting with the arrangements.
