Eleanor Szymanowski Obituary
Eleanor Szymanowski, 101, wife of the late Henry Szymanowski passed away peacefully on Monday March 4, 2024 at the Jerome Home. She was born in New Britain a daughter of the late Frank and Ameilia (Reicher) Schreiner. Eleanor graduated from New Britain High School, had been active at St. Ann's Church and the New Britain Senior Center and retired from American Hardware.
She is survived by a niece, Karen Blackmore and her husband John of Plainville as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her husband, she is predeceased by a son Mark Szymanowski, a brother; Richard J. Schreiner and sister Ruth Mitchell.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024 at 10:30 am at Rose Hill Memorial Park, 580 Elm St., Rocky Hill, CT 06067. To send a condolence please see www.newbritiansagarino.com
