I have known Ruth for the past 20 years as a volleyball referee and boy´s Vb referee assigner. In that time I have always found her to be friendly, professional and passionate about volleyball. She always listened with an open mind and considered all of our (coach´s) input, questions and requests. Ruth will be greatly missed by all of us in the HS volleyball community.

As a teenager Ruth was a proud member with me of the Yalesville Junior Ancient Fife and Drum Corps. She later played fife in the Conn. Yanks of Bristol. Both were state championship corps.
I stayed in contact with Ruth when she attended SCSC and graduated with a degree in physical education before beginning a long career as a teacher.
Ruth kept in touch with several of her drum corps and college friends over the years. She was always kind, even tempered, and easy to get along with.
Peace be with you, Ruth.

I was so sorry to hear about Ruth passing away. I have known her for many years through the VFW Auxiliary in Yalesville. She was one Special Lady who did so much for others in her lifetime. She loved her family so much and they took great care of her. I am going to miss her and my love and prayers are with you all. Love, Debbie VFW 9965
