Glen Judd Obituary

Mr. Glen Robert Judd, 89, passed away early Friday morning, July 10, 2015, at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mr. Judd served the U.S. Navy in the Asiatic-Pacific Theater during World War II. Later, he worked for Sperry Vickers Hydraulic Supply Inc. for 31 years as a machine operator. He also was a member of Beulah Baptist Church and enjoyed wood work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Cora White Judd; five brothers, Dalton, Desmond, Dean, Clifford and Rex Judd; and one sister Edna Brewer.

Survivors include his loving wife of 20 years, Delores Thompson Judd; sons, Robert Judd and his wife Marie, and Charles Judd and his wife Marilyn, all of Missouri; stepdaughter and her husband Sandra and Danny Burke of Pembroke; stepson and his wife Michael and Sharon Carrick of Columbus; one brother, Ralph Judd and his wife Wilma of West Virginia; six grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Beulah Baptist Church.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Beulah Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Bryant officiating. A committal service will be held at 1 p.m. at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.

Flanders Morrison Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for Mr. Glen Robert Judd.
