Dear Meme & Jocelyn,
I can truly say that I know how you feel. Losing my mom was one of the hardest things I have ever had to face. While at Jeannes funeral, I was thinking to myself.... My mom, Jo Ann, and Jeanne are with each other! They are walking those streets of gold, praising God, laughing, talking and are no longer in any pain!! Jeanne and mom were dear friends and it did my heart good to know that they are once again together in Heaven! As much as I wish they were both here again, it would be selfish of me to bring them back to endure more pain and suffering. They are truly the lucky ones for they are in Heaven where there are no more tears or suffering. One day, we will see them again if we choose to serve God. Jeanne will forever be in my memories, how could anybody forget Jeanne? Her kindness, gentleness, humbleness, encouraging words and the list goes on and on. Jeanne was a true example of "christian" and "friend"! I love and miss her.

Dear Peggy,
I know your heart is heavy but know that Jeanne truly loved and appreciated you. During this time I know that your memories and knowing that Jeanne is with the Lord will carry you through. I loved Jeanne dearly and will miss her. Throughout her sickness she was such an encouragement. She had a sweet, gentle, loving spirit and will be missed greatly. I will continue to pray for you. One day we'll all be together again!

Dearest Meme,
Please know you will always have my friendship and prayers. The reason this note in Jeanne's beautiful tributes is late is because, beyond my understanding, I have just now found this in my yahoo mail.
You, know my previous notes are full of love and prayers.
God bless you and your entire family,

Dear Family and Friends:
Wow. What a fighter our Jeanne was. I can only hope and pray that I can have just a portion of the spirit she had when I go through trials of sickness and/or life. She won though!! She is with her Lord. Boy, will she be missed around here though. We love you all.

Dear Peggy, Jocelyn and Family,
As you know, Jeanne was a dear friend to me. She lived her life and faced her illness with more courage than I have ever seen before. I never heard her complain or say "why me?" She would tell you what was going on with her, never looking for sympathy. She always knew who was in control and was accepting of His will.
I use to tell her often: "Jeanne, you are such an inspiration to me. When I grow up, I want to be just like you!" :-) As you all know I am a lot older than Jeanne.
I can see her now, walking through Paradise with Jesus. It doesn't get any better than that! If we could ask Jeanne if she wanted to come back down to earth with us, the answer would be "no." She is waiting for us all to join her in eternal peace and happiness.
Love to you all,

Dear Meme and family,
Jeanne was a rare jewel. It is not everyday that you cross paths with a person as humble, caring, loving, and giving as Jeanne was. Our friendship was indeed special and one that I will forever hold dear. Although my heart is heavy knowing that my friend is no longer here, I am so happy she is no longer in any pain. Most of all, I rejoice with you knowing that she has "arrived."
She always wanted to be sure her life was pleasing to God, which is why she was always careful of the things she said and did...a lesson she has taught me..to never take for granted my salvation. Proverbs 31 is her chapter and I will always think about her when I read it.
Jeanne, you ran well my friend and sister. The race wasn't about the swift or the strong...but to she who endured to the end...and that you did my friend... I love you dearly and will miss you. It's so hard to say goodbye to yesterday.

Dear MeMe and Family,
I am writing this because I feel this is what Jeanne would say to you all. To my dearest fanily, some things I'd like to say... but first of all. to let you know, that I arrived okay. I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above. Here, there's no more tears of sadness: here is just eternal love. Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight. Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night. That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through. God picked me up and hugged me and He said. "I welcome you." It's good to have you back again: You were missed while you were gone. As for your dearest family, they"ll be here later on. I need you here badly; you're part of my plan. There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man. God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do. And foremost of the list, was to watch and care for you. And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight. God and I are closest to you...in the middle of the night. When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears. But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain. Remember ther would be no flowers , unless there was some rain. I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned. But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand. But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before. There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb: but together we can do it by taking one day at a time. It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too... that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you. If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain, then you can say to God at night..."My day was not in vain>" And now I am contented...that my life has been worthwihle. knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile. So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low, just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go: When you're walking down the street, and you're got me on your mind" I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind. And whien it's time for you to go...from that body to be free, remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me. I hope you all will fine as much comfort in this as I have with my Mom. I Love you and will be praying for you.

Dear Aunt Peggy,
Jeanne and you have always inspired me because I could always look at your lives and see the love and faith you have in Jesus, and you shared that love with all those around you. I know that Jeanne is singing praises to Jesus today, and she is enjoying His company in a way that she has never experienced before. She is experiencing the Fullness of God. Lisa and I wish we could be with you today, but even though we are not able to be, please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
We love you so much,
Emily Adams

When I remember Aunt Jeanne, I remember what a strong and lovely person she was and her sweet spirit. I always admired how strong she was, even when this disease must have made her feel terrible. She will be greatly missed but I find comfort that she is no longer suffering and is in a happy, joyous place.

Peggy, my prayers are with you and your family during this time of sadness and grief. Jeanne was a dear friend and sister in the Lord. She and I had many late nights and several long drives to Atlanta. Jeanne was always a beautiful picture of what the love and mercy of God really was. I am a better person for knowing her. Although earth has lost an angel but heaven rejoices that Jeanne has made it home! Our hearts may be sad but our spirit's rejoice.Praise the Lord the battle is over and she has won! Oh grave where is thy victory? Oh death where is thy sting? Praise God! No more dying over there...

Dear Peggy and Family,
Your precious Jeanne fought a good fight and kept the faith now she is wearing the crown of righteousness that was laid up for her. One day we will all be rejoicing with her, but now you are weeping for your great loss here on this earth. Just lean on our precious Lord and know that HE alone is able to wipe the tears not only from your eyes but from your hearts as well. We love you and are praying for your continued strength for the days ahead. May you know the comfort and peace of the Father as He he speaks to you.
With prayers and love,
