Lorenzo Rehberg Obituary
He lived in Richmond Hill for the last 11 years and was a Vietnam veteran with the 101st Airborne Division, a retired first sergeant from the U.S. Army and a logistics-management specialist with the Department of the Army at Hunter Army Airfield. Ray had a combined 52 years of federal-government service.
Ray had many hobbies - deep-sea fishing, boating, coin collecting, football, discussing politics and his most-recent hobby, going on trips in his RV with his wife. He never met a stranger and always had a story to tell. Ray will be deeply missed by family and friends. It broke our hearts to lose him; he left us beautiful memories to help sustain us until we meet him again.
He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Barbara Rehberg; children, Irene Rehberg Bentley (Bo), Lorenzo Hardy Rehberg IV (Vicky), Joshua Greer and Adam Greer (Marina); and six grandchildren who were the joy of his life, Leeann Rehberg, Devin Stewart, Nicholas Bentley, Britni Rehberg and Carly Cline, who will miss her Papa Ray.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 6, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel, 10512 Ford Ave. in Richmond Hill. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 7, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
