Timothy Sapp Obituary

PEMBROKE - Timothy Sapp, 44, died Sunday Jan. 21, 2018, as the result of an automobile accident.
Timmy was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Sapp of Pembroke on Nov. 21, 1973. By the time he was 4 years old, Tim and his brother, Jay, had moved into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ray Jones where they gained five more siblings. Tim grew up as a member of the Jones family, attended Nevils Elementary School and graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 1992. He loved living in rural Bulloch County and all that is associated with life in the country; he was an especially avid fisherman.
A hard worker, Tim was a certified heating and air technician and he also worked at a number of construction jobs. At the time of his death he was employed by Davis Enterprises. However, it was his life's ambition to complete his degree and become an addiction counselor, a career in which his out-going personality, natural charm and strong faith would have served him well.
Timmy was preceded in death by his birth parents and his foster father, Charles Ray Jones.
Surviving are his beloved son, Levi Ray Sapp of Savannah; his brother Jay (Joy) Sapp of Pittsburgh, PA; and his foster mother, Clarice M. Jones of Pembroke. Other surviving siblings are Charles (Tanya) Jones of Tignall; Sid (Bea) Jones of Pembroke; Benjamin Jones of Iriga City, Philippines, Kathleen (Dr. Perry) Santos of Edmond, OK, and Joe (Donna) Jones of Pembroke. He is also mourned by his ex-wife, Patty Gregory of Savannah, and his dear friend, Stephanie Williams of Statesboro.
The family will receive visitors beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 27, at Flanders-Morrison Funeral Home in Pembroke. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Thad Harvey officiating. Interment will be at Northside Cemetery.

Hey Tim! It's Robin. Your home now. Right where you wanted to be. Although we wish you were here. But we know God took you home. You don't have to fight or hurt no more.
We spent allot of time together and you brought so much laughter in my life. We made a lot of memories with listening to music, cooking, talking, laughing and fishing. You taught me alot about fishing and brought the excitement of it back to me , so every time I go fishing , I'll be thinking of you.
Thank you for all the good times. "Go rest high on the mountains" ( Vince Gill) . I will forever hold you in my heart. FLY HIGH Tim. Love always,Robin
