Frank S. Juhasz, age 91, of Edon, Ohio, passed away on Thursday Nov. 14, 2024, at his home following a sudden illness. Frank was a lifelong farmer. He began farming in his early teens, walking behind a team of horses and a one bottom plow. He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Blakeslee Knights of Columbus Council no. 3883. He received an honorary State FFA degree and honorary Chapter FFA degree.
Frank S. Juhasz was born on Aug. 12, 1933, in Garrett, Indiana, the son of Michael and Mary (Szeman) Juhasz. Frank was a 1951 graduate of Edon High School. He married Barbara R. Fenker in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on April 15, 1972, and she survives.
Frank is also survived by his sons, Steve Juhasz, of Bryan, and John (Cheryl) Juhasz, of Edon, and granddaughters, Danielle, Abigail, Josephine and Francine. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, from 4-7 p.m. in the Krill Funeral Home, 204 W. Indiana St., Edon, with a recitation of the Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, Edgerton, Ohio, with the Rev. Daniel Borgelt officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Blakeslee.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to St. Mary Catholic School.
