Thomas Tharp Obituary
?Thomas A. "Tom" Tharp, 82, of Farmer, Ohio, passed away Monday, March 2, 2026, at Vancrest of Hicksville. Tom was born on July 21, 1943, in Lima, Ohio, the only child of Forest V. and Josephine E. (Smith) Tharp. He was a 1961 graduate of Fairview High School and proudly served in the United States Army National Guard. Tom most recently worked as a machine operator at Innovative Ag, retiring within the past few years due to declining health. Over the years, he was also employed as a cross-country truck driver, and also at Ford New Holland and Redline Equipment. In his younger years, Tom had a passion for racing cars, earning the nickname "Tornado Tom." Later in life, he enjoyed traveling to Florida to attend air shows. In more recent years, he found enjoyment in visiting casinos and playing poker.
Per Tom's wishes, no visitation or funeral services will be held at this time. Condolences may be sent to the family or memories may be shared at www.oberlinturnbull.com.
