Dear Branka & family, I just heard about Dan's passing and was so sorry for you and your family..The love you two had for each other was always visible to me at the beauty shop as you spoke so dearly of him..May he rest in peace and you and the girls find peace in knowing is pain is gone. My deepest condolences to the Totaro family. I had the pleasure to work with Dan on my team at Creditors Interchange for several years. We had some fun filled times, he always had me laughing! One time, I went on a rather long vacation to Hawaii and was away from work, he was one of my direct reports back then, when I came back to work, on my desk was a "Welcome Back" card saying I never have his permission again to leave him behind while away! Such a great gentleman, you will be missed Dan!

I had the pleasure to work with and get to know Dan in the mid 2000's. He was a great guy, flat out, a "man's man". I will forever remember the conversations about life , and the "damn contractors in Mexico":). He was a man that young men would aspire to be like, I know I do! I am so sorry for your loss. RIP Dan.

My most sincere condolences to Dan's family and friends. Dan was such a special man and im heartbroken to know that he's left all of us, but I hope he's getting some rest now. I will always remember all of our chats, he really was a great friend to me through all the years we worked together. He was such a kind hearted, very intelligent man who always took the time to ask you how you were, raved about his family and how much he loved them. I hope his family finds solace in knowing how much he was loved <3

Mary and I send our condolences to the Totaro family for your loss. We worked in the food industry with and around Dan beginning in the mid 70's. Enjoyed a few Flickinger trips with him, and a Celine Dion concert up in Toronto years ago. Have not seen Dan and Branka for a very long time, but will always consider them our friends. Dan was a big loving bear, who was very proud of his girls.

I will never forget the powerful, kind presence Dan brought to my first "real job" at Ralston Purina. Although those days are long behind us, I cherish the memories and laughter. Dan was a great friend to so many, and a guiding voice for me for several years at FE/MSSC. Countless words of advice over the years, more so as a friend and mentor than a superior were always valued and appreciated. I'll always remember him for his guidance and friendship, and never forget that unmistakable laugh. See you on the other side old friend!

I am so sorry for Branka and the girls. This is a loss that can not be measured. There is not enough space to put in words the fun we had at Purina for so many years. Everybody loved Dan and had a great deal of respect for him as a leader, father and family man. He was like a brother that will be missed forever. God bless Dan and his family.

BIG DAN !! Only the good die young ,Such a wonderful man that I looked up too , You always saw the positive in people and never judged You had a sense of humor that had many laughing , ( should of been a comidian ) You were smart like Eisenstein ( never needed Google when u were around you always had the right answer ) ...
