Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Veigel) Carpenter. Loving father of Marianne (Phil) Dalton, Lynne (the late Billy) Wibberg, Fred (Laura) Carpenter and Kelli (Michael) Tanghi. Loving grandfather of Bryan (Melinda), Patrick and Daniel (Jill) Reilly, Salina (Joe) Ezell, Kelly (Sean) Carlson, Tim (Melissa) Carpenter, Todd (Damaris) Carpenter, Lindsay King, Nicholas (Annabelle) King, Ariana Tanghe, Nicole (Michael) Muscari and Kaylin (Steven) Carerra. Loving brother of Paul (Sandy) Carpenter, Bonnie Zubler and the late Jack Carpenter. Loving brother-in-law of Donna Carpenter. Also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday July 17, 2025 from 4-8 pm at The Dietrich Funeral Home Inc., 2480 Kensington Ave. Amherst, NY 14226. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday July 18, 2025 at 10 am at St. Luke's Mission of Mercy, 325 Walden Ave. Buffalo, NY 14211 where donations may be made in lieu of flowers.
