Of Lackawanna, NY. Beloved wife of the late Peter P. Schiavi; devoted mother of Peter J. (Shawn), Joseph A. and Thomas J. Schiavi (Sandra Dolan); cherished grandmother of Jennifer, Matthew, Michael (Jennifer), Mark, Kath and Caitlin; great-grandmother of Benjamin; loving daughter of the late Salvatore and Rosa (Trupo) Violanti; sister of the late Samuel (Mary) Violanti and Mary Jane (Alex) Pukalo; fond sister-in-law of Joseph Schiavi, Mary (James) Chorazak, Annette (John) Iafallo and the late Guy (Gladys) Schiavi, Louis Schiavi and Rose (Charles) Clark; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. No prior visitation. Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Victory Basilica, 767 Ridge Rd., Lackawanna, NY, Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 9 a.m. Mrs. Schiavi was a longtime parishioner of Our Lady of Victory Basilica.
