To the family of Joan Singleton,
I am so sorry about your mom. I worked with your mom at Franklin Middle School. I had just started teaching in 1986. I had lunch with her everyday! She was such a lovely lady. She made me feel so welcome. She was so funny, our lunches were the best! I transferred to Kenmore Middle and she was the last person I said goodbye to, because I knew she was going to be the hardest person to leave! I sobbed! I just retired June 2020 and finished my career at Franklin! Funny how life turns out! My second time at Franklin was nowhere near as fun as when your mom was there! She was so proud of her children, and always talked about you! My mom also worked with your mom before I did and was good friends with her! I am hoping your family can see this note, even though I am so late. Thinking of you at this difficult time in your lives. I had to try and send this note. Your mom was the best!
