Seldom, if ever, are we blessed with meeting someone that is genuinely honest and good...someone whose smile can illuminate your darkest day. God showed me how much HE cares for me the day HE arranged for me to meet John Gruber. Mr. Gruber is by far the absolute sweetest person I have ever met.
I will miss you forever Mr.Gruber.

Johnny was the best Uncle-in-law ever and the sweetest soul. My prayers and those of my children, his grandniece and nephew, are with him and the Gruber Family. He will be greatly missed. We will forever treasure our memories of him at the cabin, fish fries, Christmas Eve, trips to Kleinhans, Sheas and everyday company. We will strive to carry on his memory and legacy.

Johnny was like family to me. All my memories of the farm include him. All my memories of Nemmers include him. He was a true delight, and an important part of my life. I know my Dad was very fond of Johnny, as I was. I will sorely miss him. My deepest sympathy to the family

John was such a terrific scout leader for our both of our boys who with his help made Eagle rank. We loved his stories and the scout campouts. He will be missed but has been called to the great scout troop above to continue his work.
