Hausle, Mary Yetta (Conley)

Formerly of Charlotte, NC, and Buffalo, NY, died peacefully at Coastal Pointe Memory Care in Shallotte, NC. She was predeceased by her husband, William "Bill", son, Bob, parents and siblings. She was a loving mother and grandmother, survived by her children: Tom (Judy) Hausle, Bob's widow, Kathy Hausle, Carol (Mike) Fischer, Joanne (Tom) Crowder, Ed (Vonda) Hausle, Ken (Pam) Hausle, and Theresa (Tre) Harris. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Mary Yetta was an accomplished musician, who studied at Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, where she met her husband, who was a student at the University of Rochester. Although she did not finish her undergraduate degree there, she completed her Bachelor's degree at SUNY Buffalo (after several years and her first five children). She gave piano lessons at home for many years in both Buffalo and Charlotte. She later earned a Master's degree in Religious Education. She volunteered at schools, hospitals, and church, while raising her family. She was the Religious Education Director and Music Director at St. John Neumann Church in Charlotte, NC. Mary Yetta's Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for Monday, October 28 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 8451 Idlewild Rd., Charlotte, NC 28227, 11 AM with a visitation one hour prior to the service. After the service, her burial will follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery, 3700 Forest Lawn Drive, Matthews, NC 28104.
