Dear Tim and Diane...we just heard about Shawn, yesterday. There are no words to express how sorry we are. I remember sitting with Tim at Libation, the morning he was born...Tim was so proud and excited, as both of you have always been for all your children. I am sure he was an amazing young man. Our hearts break for you......God must have needed another angel. With lots of love and hugs....please accept our sincere condolences. You are in our thoughts.

Tim, Diane and family Lisa and I cannot express the sorrow we feel over the loss of Shawn. Having a son of similar age Shawn was near and dear to my heart. One day a few years back Shawn was my support on a very dark day. I don't know if I could have made it through that day without his helpful insight. I will miss him he was truly a great person and friend.

As I sit here and try to think of a few words I find that all of them seem very weak. But what I do know is that I met Shawn this summer while vacationing on the lake and had the chance to speak with him while we sat around a camp fire. I will tell you this young man was not only brave in his service to our country and protecting our freedoms, but he was as equally as brave facing the challenges his service to our country created for him. I wish I could have gotten to know him better but in the short time I got spend with him I can tell you that Heaven just got one of the kindest and bravest people it could possible get.
