Of Buffalo, NY, at age 76. Beloved husband of Dianne (nee Simmons); loving father of Mary (Jason) Miller; devoted grandfather of Alyssa, Anya and Ava; dear brother of Thomas and the late Guy Szczerba; also survived by nieces and nephews. William was a graduate of Cardinal Dougherty High School and the University of Buffalo. He owned and operated Lockport Motors and Peartree Builders. There are no prior visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Assumption Church, 435 Amherst St., Tuesday, September 24th at 10AM. Please assemble at church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in William's memory to the Assumption Church Preservation Fund. Please share online condolences @ www.KolanoFuneralHome.com

We remember all the laughs we have had throughout the years, his humor was infectious. We knew how much his Family meant to him and how proud he was of all of you. We will miss him but he will live in our hearts forever.
