I attended Rice High School with Terry. He was in the grade above me, which might as well be a different universe; however Terry, who was never bound by social norms and marched to his own beat, befriended me despite my class status and through an odd turn of circumstance, we ended up on a trip together to Florida (Fort Lauderdale)for "Spring Break". He joined me and Brian Boardman and John Farnham. We drove down in a van. I cannot believe our parents let us go! As the saying goes, you never know someone until you travel with them; and I came to know Terry as well as high school students can know one another. We lost track after he graduated, although Northland Prep and SUNY Cortand sound familiar to me. Like others who have submitted remembrances of Terry, I also remember a warm personality and quick wit, with a sense of adventure. I am further saddened to learn that he was pre-deceased by one of his children. My heart goes out to his family and all who knew him well throughout their lives. If any of his family would like to hear more about this trip to Florida, please contact me. I would enjoy sharing some memories about Terry.
With heartfelt regret, Patrick Hartnett.

To all the Feloneys - We, who attended Camp Farwell in the 60's and 70's, recall being kids with Terry. He was a nice young man. One can only imagine what it was like to be one of 3 young men at a camp with 100 girls I am sure that he had stories to tell. Our deepest condolences to all of you.

Dear Feloney Family,
I remember Terry when he was about 5 years old. I spent summers at Camp Farwell and he would occasionally tag along with us 'junior' girls who were just a few years older. He was fun and super energetic and always kind. Such a great place for him to grow up.
Just wanted to send my deepest sympathies,
Eliza (Bilik) LeCours

Dear Feloney Family, I was surprised to learn of Terry's passing. My fondest memories are from years ago and spending Thanksgiving at the house in Huntington. I am sure he will be missed. Love,

So sad to hear this news.
I remember when Terry was the new kid on the block. And, as kids will be, we were leery of the new kid.
Well, that lasted about 5 minutes and then he was one of us.
The funniest one of us.
The most fearless one of us.
I haven't seen Terry since we graduated from High School but I still tell stories about the boy who sat backwards on his bike and rode down the street!

My heart is heavy with this news. I have fond memories from time spent long ago working with Terry at Burlington Public Works so genuine he taught me a lot about how to work with people on a construction site, but also so funny always lightened up my day. Good times outside of work too so sorry Cindy and family. You are in my thoughts & prayers.

Cindy, Sofie, Christopher, Patricia & Family,
I am heartbroken over the loss of my good friend and Brother Terry.
The memories I have are etched in my heart forever.
I met Terry the first day of college at SUNY Cortland and we were roommates for 3 years.
One incredible memory was our trip to see the 1980 USA Hockey Team win the gold metal in Lake Placid, NY.
We shared many great memories together.
Rest in Peace my Brother, Love you Always!

We will miss Terry at work at the deli department of Williston Hannaford. We shared in the love of books especially the author Clive Cussler which was our favorite. Terry talked about his love of the outdoors. Terry was always helpful at work, he even helped my daughters friend jump start their car late one night at Toys r Us after a long night at work. Miss you Terry. Rest in peace

Growing up with Terry in the neighborhood was the best. He always made me laugh and was very kind. He was someone I admired with his athleticism in hockey and his quick wit. He was a charmer. I'm so sorry for his family.

To Cindy, Sofie, Christopher and Terry's family,
My condolences on Terry's passing. I played hockey with Terry at Cortland State University and we lived in the same mansion on Tomkins Street. Always had a great time hanging out together. He was a good soul and a funny guy.

To Terry's family - I went to Flynn & Hunt with him and everyone teased us because we had the same first names. He had a quick wit and we all loved having him in our class. Big hugs for all of you ... Terri Auer Mitchell

I am so sorry to hear of Terry's passing.
The first time i met Terry he was only 6 years old and starting 1st grade at Addison Central School. I was in the same grade as Patricia and lived just up the street from them. Years later I was really in for a shock when he and Cindy started to build his home next door to my family in Huntington.
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you

Cindy & Family,
So sorry to hear of Terry's passing. I worked with Terry at Public Works, Burlington, on lower Main St. many years ago. I worked in the office and always thought of Terry as one of the nice guys. I remember how broken hearted he was at the loss of your first child. Deepest condolences, Cindy. Thoughts and prayers go out to you and the family.
