Betty Emmett Obituary

Betty Ann Emmett, 87, of Wesley, passed peacefully on Tuesday evening, Jan. 28, 2025, at Orchard Manor, Grove City, following a lengthy illness.
Betty was born in Marion Township, Butler County, on July 3, 1937, to Paul J. and Margaret A. (Norris) Surrena.
She married Fredrick B. "Ted" Emmett on April 18, 1953, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 21, 2021.
She was a graduate of Wesley High School, and she attended Pleasant View Methodist Church, Irwin Township.
Betty enjoyed gardening, decorating her house and mostly she loved being a homemaker and taking care of her three children.
Betty is survived by three children, Patricia (Charles) Merrick of Grove City, Rick Emmett of Wesley and Kelly (Robert) Emmett-Isherwood of Wexford; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott) Pompa, Stephanie Sopher, Ashley (Kevin) Kolanko and Teddi Isherwood; two great-grandsons, Nathan and Kameron; and a sister, Peggy Surrena Minder.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and a sister, Lois Glenn.
EMMETT - Private family services for Betty Ann Emmett, who died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2025, will be held Friday afternoon, Jan. 31, at CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City. Burial will follow in Mount Irwin Cemetery, Venango County.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
