Happy Heavenly Birthday, Bob. I rode at North Park today and thought of you. You are missed.

Bob was a terrific person. The enormity of the void I am experiencing because of his untimely passing must be only a fraction of that being experienced by Paige, Brooke and Bernadette. My prayers and hopes for consolation of their grief continue and will persist for a very long time. Bob taught me a lot about taking care of myself and having higher expectations for being the best that I could at an earlier time in my life. The perspective I gained from his positive influence opened doors for me that would have otherwise remained closed and I am forever grateful for this.

I met Bob in 1999 at Oxford Athletic Club. I loved his 5:45 AM spin classes. We played squash and he became my personal trainer and my friend. He encouraged me to become a road rider and took me to Scholls Bicycle to pick out my first road bike. He recruited his friend Vic Lisotto to take me to North Park and teach me the basics of road riding. I was hooked! Bob gave me the biggest gift anyone could receive - road riding has been the best part of my life ever since, forging great memories and friendships, great health and wellness of body and spirit. My heart is broken that he was taken too soon and had so much more work to do on Earth. But as the pastor said at his Celebration of Life service, when his eyes closed for the last time on earth, they opened again in Heaven. And for that, my heart must be content. RIP Bob, until we meet again.

I can assure you that Bob is experiencing an indescribable deep peace and having wonderful fellowship. I died for a few minutes 5 days after I trusted Jesus as my Savior on January 10, 1974 when a blood clot passed through my heart. Heaven is very bright, colorful and peaceful. I did not go through a tunnel. I was instantly there. I can´t wait to return. Bob is still alive in heaven. You will see him again. Steve Musial, a member at North Way Christian Community.

Bob and I attended Rooted together -- He was serious about his relationship with the Lord -- I knew him as a brother in the Lord, and I'm certain that he is with Jesus right now. May God bless and comfort his family and loved ones till they meet again. Respectfully, Ken Myers

Bob and I were inseparable my freshman year at Pitt Titusville, he was a sophomore and transferred to main the following year and we fell out of touch, now we can´t ever reconnect in this life, hopefully we will in the next. As I would expect, from what I´ve read, he was well liked by his family and friends. Rest in peace Bob.

I'm so sorry Robert passed away due to a fluke accident. Although I did not know Robert personally I feel a connection to him since we both attended NWCC. I'm sorry for your loss.
