Timothy Byers Obituary
Timothy L. Byers, 49, of Butler died Dec. 18 in Georgia at the home of his parents, Gerry and Helen Byers.
He is survived by a daughter, Karissa, of Butler. A sister, Terry; a brother, Tracy, and his wife, Jenny, and their son, Jacob; other relatives and friends in the Georgia area, and friends in the Butler area also survive.

Tomorrow is your birthday and this guest book will no longer be on,but the memories will still be strong. We will remember the times we shared with you always. Anytime I make German porkchops I will always remember how you called them cheesy pork chops even though there was no cheese in them. Karissa is doing so well which I know you wanted for her. It has been comforting to write these messages to you during this past year, as well as reading the ones written by others who love you. Merry Christmas, Tim! I miss you and wish you were here. It's late Christmas Eve and I'm sitting here thinkng of you and burning a candle in the beautiful red candle holder you gave me last year. You picked it out for me before you got so sick, and I remember how sad it was opening a present from you and not having you there. It is so amazing to me how you pushed yourself to shop and buy presents for your family and made sure they were under the tree before you left us. I love my candle holder and will use it every year around the holidays and burn a candle in memory of you. My mind has been full of thoughts of you for days now, especially on Monday,12/17. I kept going back to that Monday night when you took your last breath and left this world. That was the most painful moment of my life, and I just can't believe you are no longer here on this earth with us, and that you have been gone for a whole year. It breaks my heart that I can't see you and hug you, or even hear your voice on the phone. I miss you so much, and I feel an emptiness in my life where you used to be. Even though we lived far apart for many years, I still knew you were there. I always thought we would grow old together and talk about old times that we were able to remember. I listened to music that you like today on CD's and remembered some of the fun times we had together. Today it made me cry, but I hope someday it will make me smile. I cherish all of the memories I have of times with you, from growing up together, to being young adults and even the recents memories, though some are painful. I just wish we could have had a lot more years, but it wasn't meant to be. I guess now I will just wait and see you in heaven. I think of you everyday and sometimes it seems I get little messages from you, which helps me to know that you are watching over me or just saying hello. Tim, It has been 6 months to the day since you left this world. In fact, it was a Monday night just as today is. I have had you on my mind all day today and I still cannot believe you are gone. I miss you so much. It hurts me just as much now as it did 6 months ago. I relive that night in my mind and the pain is as strong as it ever was. Somehow I thought it would get easier, but it does not. I am glad you are free from pain and I believe your are resting in peace. I just found out that today is "National Siblings Day" which I had never heard of before. However, I felt that I had to send you a message and tell you how truly blessed I am to have you for my sibling. You were the best brother ever and truly a friend to me. I am so glad that we always got along as children and as adults. I just wish we could have had more years together. I pictured us growing old together and being buddies like Mom and Uncle Earl. I miss you so very much and I still have a lot of days with pain and tears. I know that you had many days of pain and tears before you left us and I am glad that you no longer have to suffer. My prayers are with each and one of the family members. Tim was a wonderful indivual and one I will never forget. I just spoke to him a couple months ago and he wanted to be able to see my daughter that he use to babysit, who is now 15, and he told me he was going to Georgia to see his parents and I am so glad he got that chance.
