Susan,
So sorry to learn of your father“s passing. I remember trick or treating as a child and your parents always invited me in and wanted to talk. I always enjoyed the conversation.
I ran into him at the Lowry House a number of years ago and he was excited to catch up.
Condolences on your loss!

Susan,
So sorry for the loss of your Father. From the letters here on the Eagle sight he sounded like a Wonderful Man.

"Mr. Ifft" was a staple in the lives of our family. Going home to visit my parents was always accompanied by, "And how is Mr. Ifft?" He was such a good neighbor and friend of our father, and going home always felt better knowing Mr. Ifft was there. He is someone our family thought highly of and respected.

Very sad to hear of Bill's passing. He and Janet were close friends of my grandparents, Joe and Gertrude Kuziensky and I saw them frequently when I visited Butler as a kid. I have many fond memories of Bill (or "Mr. Ifft" as I knew him). The pipe he frequently smoked, his trains and the safe he let me play with in the basement, the wooden toys he made with his neighbor, and his stories about enlisting in the military during WWII (I recall there was a request to not be put in the Navy because he couldn't swim). He was always glad to see you and to share his time with you. He will be missed. Condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

Bill and Janet lived behind my Mom & Dad. One night my Mom wanted to play bingo but my Dad didn't want to go. So Bill took my Mom and several hours later they arrived at our back door with a friend - a live turkey on a rope that my Mom had won. He came to our house in Bill's trunk. Bill and Janet were the best neighbors ever!
