Carl Perkins Obituary

PERKINS Carl 'Perk' Perkins, longtime resident of Alice, died Wednesday evening December 15, 2010. He was born March 15, 1932 and proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for Halliburton in Alice and Robstown for 32 years.He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Irene Perkins and his brother, Marion Perkins. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Perkins; three sons, Jimmy Perkins of Banquete, Bryan Perkins (Suzan) of Whitehouse and Jason Perkins (Laura) of Robstown; two sisters, Evelyn Johnston of Woodsboro and Dorothy Rigby (Jay) of Victoria and five grandchildren, Brittany Perkins, Lauren Perkins, Emilee Perkins, Justin Perkins and Joshua Perkins and several nieces and nephews. His nephews will serve as pallbearers.A viewing will be held at Holmgreen Mortuary on Friday, December 17, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.Arrangements are entrusted to: HOLMGREEN MORTUARY, INC.
