Juan Martinez Jr., 48, a longtime resident of Odem, Texas made his way to heaven on Friday, the 3rd of February 2017 at 6:28 PM surrounded by family and friends. Juan was born December 20, 1968, in Sinton, Texas, to Juan and Lydia Martinez.
He is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Martinez of Odem, his parents, Juan and Lydia Martinez of Odem, his daughter, Jaime Martinez of Indiana, three grandchildren, three cats, Boots, Mitten and Sky, his sisters, Nancy Santellana (Mark Santellana) of Odem, Lorie Garcia (Simon Garcia) of Garland,Alexandra Martinez (Juan Delgado Jr.), Irene Martinez (Robert Cazarez) and Amanda Martinez (Joe Martinez Jr.) all of Odem. Also many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 1:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2017, with a rosary being recited at 7:00 PM.
Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home before being laid to rest at San Pedro Cemetery in Odem.
