Leonor L. Ramirez

RAMIREZ Hebbronville, TexasLeonor L. Ramirez, 89, passed away on Friday, September 21, 2012 at a nursing home in San Angelo, Texas. She was born on October 20, 1922 to Cleofas Lopez and Guadalupe Garza Lopez in Hebbronville, Texas. Leonor was not only a wonderful housewife and mother, but in her earlier years she owned her own restaurant in Hebbronville for about 15 years. Leonor was a proud member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Catholic Daughters of America and the Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez Sociedad Mutualista Mexicana and as loved by those who knew her and will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Orlando Ramirez; grandson, Marc D. Kajs and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her sons; Roberto F. (Cynthia) Ramirez of Laredo, Texas and David O. (Martha) Ramirez of San Angelo, Texas; daughters, Priscilla R. (Ralph) Matta of San Antonio, Texas, Gloria R. (Edward) Swidriski of Spring, Texas and Leonor N. (Joe) Ramirez-Regalado of Falls Church, Virginia; sisters, Olivia L. (Alvaro) Soliz of Hebbronville, Texas and Estela L. Jureczki of San Antonio, Texas; 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be: Ralph Daniel Matta, Jr., Edward David Swidriski, III, Armando Garza, Jr., Michael Garza, Marcus Garza, Roberto Ricardo Ramirez, Roberto David Ramirez, Omar Javier Ramirez, David O. Ramirez, Jr. and Carlos Eduardo Ramirez. Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at the Funeraria Del Angel Howard Williams in Hebbronville with visitation beginning at 4:00 p.m.Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hebbronville.Burial will follow at the New Hebbronville Cemetery.
