NICHOLAS BENAVIDES Obituary

BENAVIDES Nicholas (Nicky) Benavides was carried away by angels and embraced by Jesus on December 29, 2008. He was born on June 21, 1999 to Geneva Kay and Bonifacio Edward Benavides. All who knew him loved him and he will be dearly missed by all his family. Nicholas was a special child and while he had verbal communication problems, he always made his presence and wishes known. He loved to laugh and all that knew him were instantly caught up in his joy. To know him was to love him passionately and unconditionally. As the family has all gathered for their loss, we all miss the little bit of havoc that Nicholas brought to our household. He attended Ella Barnes Elementary School where he will be missed by all. Nicholas is survived by his parents; Bonifacio Edward and Geni Benavides, sister; Alexis Werner, brother; Christian Benavides, maternal grandparents; Kenneth Werner, Roland and Linda Zepeda, paternal grandparent, Alicia Benavides, great-grand parents; Bob and Beth Werner, Cleofas Aguilar, Trinidad and Olga Benavides, aunts and uncles; Kendra Loveday, Carrie DeLosSantos and Greg DeLosSantos, Albert and Christina Benavides, Gabriel Benavides and multiple cousins. Honorary pallbearers will be Albert Benavides, Gabriel Benavides, Greg DeLosSantos, Anthony Valdez, George DeLosSantos and Danny Wells. A Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, January 1, 2009 at 7:00 P.M. at Seaside Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Seaside Memorial Park. The family wants to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all the support, prayers and love you have shown for our loss.
