Robert "Bob" Edward Rohlf went to be with our Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2007. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to William D. and Adeline Clarner Rohlf. Bob was a retired employee of the Corpus Christi Army Depot and the owner and operator of Frost King Refrigeration and A/C. Known as "Awesome Bob" to his fellow musicians, he enjoyed playing his steel guitar with many local bands in which he took part in many studio recording sessions. He was a very loving and caring, husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed by all of his family and friends. He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, his loving wife: Kathryn "Kitty" Francis Rohlf of Bluntzer, Texas, one daughter: Sandy (Curtis) Tegeler of Pearland, Texas, two sons: Cory (Sue) Rohlf of Ingram, Texas and Kevin (Teri) Rohlf of Lockhart, Texas. He was also blessed and adored by his nine grandchildren: Tina Rohlf, Clinton Rohlf both of Ingram, Texas, Mackenzie Rohlf, Luke Rohlf, Anna Rohlf and Michael Rohlf all of Lockhart,Texas, Kadi Tegeler, Paige Tegeler, and Hailey Tegeler all of Pearland, Texas. The family would also like to thank all dads' friends who prayed so hard, especially Fr. Francis Sebastian, Fr. Ralph Jones, Fr. Gerald J. Sheehan, Fr. Flanagan, Fr. Jose Salazar, and Joe and Pat Falcon. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, July 26, 2007 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, Texas.
