CHARLES WILSON Obituary

Charles J. "Joe" Wilson

Age 70 of Perry Township passed away Tuesday December 15, 2020 following an extended illness. He was born February 19, 1950 in Keyser, WV, the son of the late Charles N. and Verda Wilson. Joe first worked for Weingold Scrap Services in Cleveland prior to working and retiring from Wallicks Scrap Metal. Joe was a family man and an avid fisherman.

Joe is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathy; daughters, Sara Wilson, Heather (Jason) DeLauder, and grandson Isaac Wilson. Joe also had two children very early in life, and though time and circumstances separated them, he would want Mary and Charlie to know that they were always remembered and loved.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Chuck Schumacher officiating. A brief gathering will be held from 6:30 until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers Joe's family request that donations be made to the American Lung Association. Those wishing to share a memory or their condolences may sign the online guestbook at: www.dwilliamsfg.com
