John Marsh Obituary
age 80 of Massillon died Monday, Jan. 31, 2011 at Affinity Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born Dec. 31, 1930 in Lawrence Twp. to the late Charles and Bessie (Ourant) Marsh. John was a U.S. Army veteran and was a retired meat cutter with Superior Meats in Massillon. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Massillon and was an avid gardener. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine siblings.
He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl (Scott) Willyerd of Billings, Mont.; two sons and daughter-in-law, Mike (Norene) Marsh, Greg Marsh, all of Massillon; seven grandchildren; seven great- grandchildren; a brother, Donald Marsh of Massillon; a sister, Martha Riffle of Arizona.
Cremation has taken place and burial will follow at a later date in Brookfield Cemetery.

My condolences go out to you both Mike, Greg and the rest of my Great Uncle Johns Family. As young as I was I am truly blessed to remember the many great memories of My Great Uncle John from that special smile and silly grins he would always have on his face, especially as he would walk through his sister; my grandma Ruths back door with bushels of goodies out of his garden every year. Also as He, Grandma Ruth, Aunt Fay,and Uncle Walt would take me with them to the old Army-Navy Club and he would sneek me quarters and play that old pinball machine with me. Uncle John you are sadly missed but will always be remembered in our hearts and prayers. Rest in Peace Uncle John, and Oh yea and please help and keep Grandma and Aunt fay from those Little Joes...
