Mary Kay
I was so shocked and saddened to read of Johns loss last night in the West Side leader. What a terrible loss for you and the children but to know he is home with the Lord is what will get your through.

I will always remember his smile and cheerfulness when I would drop off products for you and he would always be so cheerful when he took my messages on the phone. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Mary Kay
I was shocked to read in the West Side leader last night of Johns passing last week. I will alwways remember how cheerful he was when I would call to talk to you and he always had a smile on his face when I would see him. Knowing he is with the Lord and watching over all of you as another "angel" will give you comfort during the road ahead. I will keep you and the children in my prayers.

Mar:

It was soooo great to see you at the service for John, singing, praising and celebrating the fact that he is now with Jesus. I know the road will not be easy over the next few weeks and months. Remember that those will be the times God is carrying you (from the "Footprints" poem). You will never be alone.

Also, know that you are in OUR thoughts and prayers, and we are "at the ready" should you need ANYTHING (a break, someone to listen, five more kids to visit your home, etc..)

I also want to say that it was totally amazing to me, and wonderful, that in your grief, you made DARN SURE that you were going to tell everyone the Good News on how they can grow to know God. You are amazing.

I am, and will be thinking of and praying for you and the kids. You are a great Mother, and are VERY strong and capable. You and the kids are going to be just fine. All of the wonderful things you loved about John, will live on through and in you and your children.

Take Care!

Love,

Kelly Eckenrode (and gang).

We all know John wasn't perfect, but he did indeed have a way about him. He just always seemed to be happy to be alive, and loved to live life. I think we could all use some of that right now.You will be greatly missed by all.You were just like a brother to me.

We are saying goodbye today
To a husband, father, son, brother & friend
Johnny "Hollywood" Rinaldi
A man you could count on to the end.

We all just don't understand it
It happend so sudden, it's just not fair
He had so much more living to do
So many memories yet to share

Johnny was the first to lend a hand
He would go that extra mile
He'd walk in a room with all of his charm
Crack a joke and then give you that smile

Are hearts are are all broken
Yet not sure how to feel
Should I be angry, sad or confused
I don't know this is so unreal

I personally have known Johnny
Since the day I was born
I've seen him laugh, I've seen him cry
I've also seen his heart torn

But in the last 15 years
I can honestly say
I've never seen him happier
Then when he stood by Mary Kay

To you Mary Kay I thank you with all my heart
You are a rare gem, preicous and few
You were the light of his life
With a love so deep, beautiful and true

To his children I know you will miss him
But remember he'll always be by your side
To give you comfort and strength
He'll always listen for you to confide

Hollywood died the other day
Doing what he loved to do
Remember him on his Harley
That's what he would want you to do

As I end this message to you
I hope someday your heart will mend
Until we see you again Johnny
I love you alway, God Bless...Amen

Love your sister forever...

I am so sorry that your family has to walk this incredibly sad journey. Hollywood came to the calling hours of my husband Danny 2 years ago and expressed his grief at the loss of a riding buddy. Now you must take this same journey. I will be praying for you in the coming days and weeks that you will experience the peace that only God can give.

Dear John (Hollywood):
What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, looking for one more day, one more word, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we will begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories we will never forget.

Mary Kay, Madison, John and Annalese:

I met John ushering at Faith Family. We spent several shifts working together and I grew to know and love him. I always thought he was so special, even to be known as Hollywood at church. I ask God to give you the grace and rest in your hearts to get you through this tough time. Even though John's life ended before any of us ever imagined, his Father in Heaven has prepared a table for John and a room in His mansion; and has said face to face to John, "Well done my good and faithful servant."

We first met John ("Hollywood") through Sam and Karen. We had just gotten our bike and the Iron Harvest group invited us to ride with them. John was so nice and so friendly, joking with us like he'd known us forever. He talked of his wife and children and was so proud of them. Mary Kay, let your faith be your comfort. Our hearts are with you, your children and the rest of the Rinaldi family.

Hollywood was a very dear friend of mine. I had the pleasure of meeting him last summer with Kemp, Guy and Bell. We rode with our "gang" Dec. 27th, marveling at the superb weather only 2 days after Christmas. Although I was older than him, he seemed like a big brother, full of dating and riding advice. He will be greatly missed. His family is in my thoughts and prayers.

To MaryKay and your three little ones and all of John's family, my heart goes out to you. My husband and John worked together for many years before he was also taken from us 5 years ago . John made sure to stay in contact with me over the years and I will be forever grateful. He was one of the most kind, warm, and loving people I've ever had the privilige to know. They say only the good die young, and he's a prime example. He will surely be missed by so many. MaryKay, keep the memories in your heart and remember, he will always be right there by your side!
