Joseph Franz Obituary

Joseph Robert Franz
60, passed away peacefully May 22, 2017 after a long illness.
He was preceeded in death by both his parents and an older brother, Michael. He is survived by a sister, Jeanne Stanford of Augusta, Ga.; and two brothers, James Franz of Valrico, Fla. and Ludlow, Ky., and Thomas Franz of Madison, Ohio; many cousin, nieces and nephews. He also left behind his trusted good friend, Vicki Adams.
Joe was born in Canton, Ohio and is a 1975 graduate of Central Catholic High School in Canton, Ohio. He had a love of refurbishing cars. He was excellent at painting cars. He lived in Bradenton, Florida for over 40 years. He definitely was his own man. He was just a big teddy bear. His final year and 1/2 were mostly spent in a rehab center. He managed to keep his good sense of humor throughout it all. The family is thankful that he doesn't have to suffer anymore. He is finally in a better place. We love you, Joe.
Arrangements to be announced at a later date. Make donations to the American Diabetes Association.

Joe,
You are now at peace and away from the pain you endured for so so long. We both miss those fun years growing up at Lake Cable, the fishing, skating, boating, beach, cherry picking, basketball, and watching Jim learn to drive a car and Jeanne how to drive the boat. May you be at peace with Our Lord.
Love, your brother, Tom

Joe, rest in peace and soar high. You will never be forgotten. Tom still talks about how you and him did all those crazy things.
