Together Again
Age 86, of Suffield, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, September 19, 2018. He was born on August 22, 1932 in Arnoldsburg, W.Va. to the late Raymond and Lillie (Walker) Laughlin. Early on, he grew up in a life of hard knocks which inspired him to be an inventive and hard-working man. He met and married Norma Scharff in 1950. He retired from Monarch Rubber Co. after 27 years of service. He enjoyed nature and the outdoors. He is deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Elaine Laughlin; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Laughlin, Tiffany (John) Keith; great-granddaughter, Maggie Keith; sister, Carol Owens; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Coder; and nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Norma; brothers, Raymond and Burton.
Calling hours are Saturday 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. at Arnold Funeral Home and funeral services begin at 11 a.m. conducted by Pastor Mike Williams. Final resting place is Hillside Memorial Park.

Roger, I am very sorry for your loss!
I enjoyed working with him all those years at Monarch Rubber. We worked hard but had a lot of fun as well. I know he will be greatly missed by everyone.
