Marilyn Erwin Obituary
age 84, passed away Oct. 4, 2015. She was born Oct. 29, 1930 in Canton, Ohio, daughter to the late Joseph (Helen) Mikes and Twila (John) Hediger-Proud. Marilyn was a 1948 graduate of Timken Vocational High School, she had worked for Canton Stoker Company and retired from Sugardale. She had been a member of North Industry Christian Church.
Preceded in death by her husband, John Erwin and half brother, Joseph Mikes. Survivors include sister, Donna J. Frenz; niece, Kris Howell of Canton; nephews, Tim Erwin of Canton and Robert Frenz of Columbus; great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces, nephews and many dear close friends and neighbors.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday at 11a.m. in Reed Funeral Home CANTON Chapel with Pastor Steve Kimbrel officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Calling hours will be held one hour prior to the service on Friday from 10-11a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial fonations may be made in her name to the Stark County Humane Society or North Industry Christian Church. I had been Marilyns hairdresser for many years. She was one of the kindest, most wonderful ladies I have ever known. Always had words of wisdom to share, and a heart full of love.
