Nicole McGee Obituary
age 31, formerly of East Canton, passed away unexpectedly Friday June 3, 2016, in Texas. She was born Aug. 15, 1984, in Canton, to Rodney B. and Shelly K. (Swan) John. Nicole was a 2002 graduate of East Canton High School. She was an U.S. Air Force Veteran having served in operations Iraqi Freedom and Iraqi Enduring Freedom. She was a member Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church.
Nicole is survived by her husband, Robert Sloan McGee; three children: Morgan Curtis, Andrew and Avery McGee; her parents, Rodney and Shelly John; two brothers, Anthony (Heidi) John and Daniel John; grandparents, Ron and Janice Swan; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Maurice and Cindy McGee; brother-in-law, Terrence McGee; three nieces, Addison, Kenzie and Madilynn John; one nephew, Harrison McGee; numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
Funeral services will be Thursday, June 9, 2016, at 7:00 p.m., in the Sanders Funeral Home in East Canton with Pastor Tim Monteith officiating. Friends will be received two hours before services on Thursday (5-7 p.m.). In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Women Veterans Foundation at P.O. Box 1776, Sun Valley, Idaho 83353. Condolences or fond memories may be shared online at:

There are no words to express my sorrow for the loss of Nicole. She was a beautiful, wonderful person. My prayers go out to Shelly Rod Tony and Dan and her husband and children. Also to the rest of her family and friends.
