Raymond McFeeders Obituary
Raymond M. McFeeders "Sandy", age 68, passed away on Thursday, June 19th, 2008, in Arbors of Canton, Ohio from cancer. He was a Bolivar, OH resident most of his life and was born on November 29th, 1939 at Winfield, Ohio to the late Earl H. and Florence E. (Stahleker) McFeeders. Sandy graduated from Tuscarawas Valley High School in 1958 and was a veteran of the US Army. He retired in the 80's from Superior Dairy of Canton, OH where he was a supervisor and then went to work and retired from Fisher Electric of Canton, OH where he worked as a driver. He was a member of the Bolivar Army - Navy Club, Bolivar American Legion Post 190, and the Bolivar Sportsman Club all of Bolivar, OH. His hobbies were bowling, antique cars, golfing, hunting and camping "He enjoyed the outdoors". He is survived by his children; Karen (Brian) Laney of Canton, OH and Gary (Cathy) McFeeders of Bolivar, OH; four grandchildren, Aaron and Rachel Hostetler of Bolivar, OH, Ryan Crawford of St. Paul, MN and Abbie Rowe of Pittsburg, PA; brothers, Carl (Jill) McFeeders of Dover, OH, Richard (Bonnie) McFeeders of Bolivar, OH and Norman (Sharon) McFeeders of Canton, OH; and a sister Helen Hall of Bolivar, OH. His funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m., June 24th, 2008, in the Lebold Funeral Home, 248 Park Ave. SW, Bolivar, OH 44612 where there will be calling hours on Monday from 7- 9 p.m. Pastor Bill McGovern will officiate. Sandy will be buried in Ft. Laurens Cemetery at Bolivar, OH. The Bolivar American Legion Post 190 will be conducting military graveside services. To the family of Sandy, My mom and I were shocked to read of Sandy's passing. We Haven't seen him for a long time, but he made his way into our hearts during his time at Superior Dairy. We were all Friends of Jim Cobbett, and I worked with him at the Dairy. I'm sorry that we did not get a chance to say good-bye and let him know how much he influenced our lives. Our sympathy and prayers are with you all.
