On Feb. 5, 2017, Ruby L. George was called home to be with the Lord. She was born Dec. 30, 1925, in Stillmore, Ga., to the late Ellis Patterson, Sr. and Fannie Patterson. She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.
Ruby leaves to cherish her precious memories to her brother, Louis (JoAnn) Patterson; sisters, Wilma (Paul) Bennafield, Eva Mae Smith; sister-in-law, Linda Patterson; special cousin, Mattie Burton; children: William L. (Carol) George, Mamie (Lonnie) Jones, Gail (Mayo) Dorthy (Ron) Bush, Bobbie (Therese) George, Kathleen (Eliot) Mills, Tamatha George; special sons, James (Dawn) Sullin, Elton Simpson; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter, 20 special grandchildren; special friends, Clarine Jones, Alice Prather, and Electra as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will forever be in our hearts and will be greatly missed.
A Home Going Celebration will be held in honor of Mrs. George on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at 11 a.m., Peoples Baptist Church, 701 17th St. S.E., Canton, Ohio 44707. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment- Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

To The George Family: We are so sorry for your lost! Your mom is such a sweet and loving soul!! You all have always been in our hearts and prayers and especially now. God Bless each and every one and know that the Harley Family Loves you and will always pray for Blessings, Love , Peace and Success for the entire George Family!!!
