Edith Fosler

Edith Evelyn Fosler (nee Ida Schadler), 95 years old, died at The Hospice of the Chesapeake in Linthicum following a short illness.

Edith was born in Benton Harbor, Mich., and resided in Ferndale for 56 years. She worked at Lindy's Pharmacy in Linthicum for many years. She was an avid reader, liked soap operas and crossword puzzles. Edith was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Ferndale.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Fosler, of 60+ years of marriage; and one brother, Irving Schadler of Salisbury, Md.

She is survived by her sons, Robert P. Fosler of Linthicum, and Gerald F. Fosler of Osteen, Fla.; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Fink of Severn and Virginia Tauber of Linthicum.

The family will receive visitors from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue S.W. (at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie. The funeral ceremony will be held on Thursday, at 1 p.m., in the funeral home's chapel.
