Joan Martin Obituary



Joan Ann (Sears) Martin, 73, of Clear Spring, MD, passed away March 1, 2018. Born January 17, 1945 in Annapolis, MD, she was the daughter of the late Elvin and Eula Sears. Joan is survived by two daughters, Michelle Martin of Hagerstown and Tracy Durkin and husband Jared of Warrenton, VA: one sister, Connie Jones and husband, Carl, of Annapolis, MD; one brother Arlan Sears of Steamboart Springs, CO; seven grand children, 5 great grandchildren; nieces, Lori Sears, Karen Girardin; and nephew Eddie Lamb. A Celebration of Life will be held 11am, Saturday, March 17, 2018 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 22 Cumberland Street, Clear Spring MD.

I did not know her, however, I do know her sister Connie and my daughter have gotten to know Tracy through their work. To keep Joan memory alive helps the healing process and allows the Spirit to stand out. RIP Joan and Family stay strong in your Faith!!!! Peace and Blessings to each and everyone of you!!!!
