Amanda Cruz Obituary

Amanda Susan Cruz, age 34, of Taneytown died Wednesday, December 7, 2022 at her home. Born March 4, 1988 in Westminster, she was the daughter of Stephen Rosewag of Fairfield and the late Pamela Rosewag. She was the wife of Ajustinito "Tito" Cruz, whom she married September 19, 2020. She was a graduate of Francis Scott Key High School class of 2006. She was an aspiring cosmetologist and enjoyed cutting and styling her friends and families hair. Amanda was a free-spirited, carefree person, who enjoyed going to the beach, vacationing, shopping, taking walks and spending time with her children. In addition to her husband, she is survived by daughters Alana, Layla and Aliya Cruz, sister Melissa Haines and husband Daniel of Taneytown, and niece Chelsea Annas. Also surviving is a large extended family, cousins and friends. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by grandmother Carol Schultz. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 12 noon at Hartzler Funeral Home, 310 Church St., New Windsor with Deacon Charles Barnhart officiating. Its been a year and I miss you every single day. I miss when i would go and talk to you abt my crappy days at school and about stupid boys. I miss making christmas cookies with you and letting you do my hair. I miss coloring and going on walks with you. And most of all I miss your big gorgeous smile. Can´t believe its been over a year. Amanda was a great friend of mine. She was always their for me. She was great with the kids she would play with them. They got excited to see aunt Amanda. I will never forget all the happy memories with her. Are favorite thing we shared together was are nicknames were peanut butter and jelly. She was the peanutbutter to my jelly. She will always be in my heart for ever.
